    ...he would already be toast. The anger towards LIEberman among the progressive base here in CT is every bit as great as what we feel towards Bush. Thanks to Kos' polling, it appears that even a substantial percentage of low information voters now recognize what a mistake they made in 2006. There are movements afoot here in CT to censure LIEberman and force him out of the Democratic party (he remains a registered Democrat here).

    Some of the DTC's are actively working on this. Unfortunately, we are plagued by the same spineless, crony enabling leadership at the top of the Democratic party here in CT was we are nationally. It's terribly frustrating!!

        The Democratic primary voters of Connecticut already dumped Joe in 2006 in favor of Ned Lamont, which is why Lieberman ran as the only candidate of the "Connecticut for Lieberman" party.  There's nothing else we can do until 2012, so it's up to the Dems in Washington to move him out of the chairmanship.
