surely some of it would have been returned. I'm pretty sure it was simple greed. Palin knew that she was not going to become VP. This shopping spree was probably considered a "perk" by her. I suspect no one was as pissed as she was when she realized she wasn't going to be able to sneak off with that wardrobe.

and others, 1/3 was returned because they were the wrong size, and 1/3 never left the "belly" of the plane.  I just want to know who purchased the first dude's silk undies (and if he/she got the size right).  :)

      to return the clothes?

If she did, she was essentially on notice to begin with. If she didn't, I don't see why she doesn't respond with an upraised middle finger and a command to her crazies "Sic 'em!" against the GOP leadership desperately trying to keep their party from turning into a minor third party.

After the 1000th death threat to their mobile phone (that only a handful of people are supposed to know) and a few hundred bricks through their front windows, I suspect that even the most financially responsible GOP leader would go "aw, fuck it".

I suspect there was no contract. Even if there was, people like that are used to just breaking rules whenever it's convenient.

Handicapped space?? "I'm in a hurry."
Contractors hired by the city give you a free house. "They were just a couple of buddies who offered to help out here and there."
Lobbyist just paid for a $1,000 dinner?? "I had no idea it cost that much."
Not my clothes??? "I just figured that no one would want those used $10,000 suits."
