        And, figure out the next way to impact the system.  Perhaps come up with experiments towards influencing votes on a repeatable basis.

        Obama has promoted an initial view of government transparency, which is a mild, but noble starting point.

        I wonder if we might consider TPM-style muckraking taken to a new level.  Vote on a strategic DKos policy issue of the moment, then gather volunteers and some front-page space towards investigating the players involved with that issue before it ever gets to a vote.

        On the issues that matter most, perhaps on a quarterly basis going forward.

        Keep the theme alive on a weekly basis for the first couple months, then each day in the final month of the quarter.

        Get to the bottom of specific policy issues and how votes may be swayed.

        Because, if Lieberman won today's vote out of anything not resembling information hiding on the part of colluding Senators, I'll eat my socks.
