So do I. The last eight year have hurt a lot.

This may been like nit picking to you. It is not "Clinton hate". This would apply to any Congress Critter.

If we ignore the small things it makes it easier to sweep away the big. This has happened three time in the 20th century. It is not impossible to solve, several ways.

I take this as a teaching moment. I spent the Fourth of July reading Constitutional stuff. Not a lawyer, just had a broken leg.

    •  Huh? (0+ / 0-)

The Constitution says what it does; I'm not accusing Sen. Clinton of deliberately trying to violate the Constitution, but noting what Congress has to do to get around this.

      •  I didn't say anybody was .... (0+ / 0-)

        accusing anybody of doing anything.

All I mean by my remark is that this gives the folks who just can't get past their hatred for the Clintons (and yes, we know they exist and are present here in droves) one more thing to harp about.

Whether the issue is strict Constitutional adherance or following already set precedent to circumvent this rule, you know they will use it in their rhetoric.  It's inevitable (oh how they used to hate that word, now they live it: decided only by which foot the shoe is on, I suppose).

Nice catch, by the way, but I am positive that Obama's team and Clinton's team already have this figured out, and there is no need for any of us to sweat, even if that sweat is brought about by a rise in heart rate in hopes of keeping Clinton 'out'.
