    You do, I think.

The Calif. constitution--as amended by Prop. 8--does not permit same-sex marriage.

I doubt the U.S. Supreme Court will disagree with Obama and Clinton and hold that the U.S. Constitution requires that gay marriage be permitted.

Uconstitutional change.  And besides, it has nothing to do with what I responded to, which was the completely unrelated fact that Hillary Clinton finds it much more politically expedient to favor domestic partnerships over marriage.  Something I do not fault her for, but something that has no relevance whatsoever to the topic at hand.

    •  Prop 8 would be an illegal revision (0+ / 0-)

The Supreme Court of California will rule on whether Prop 8 would be an illegal revision of the constitution, and a violation of the separation of powers here in CA.

The current case is based on California law, not the 14th amendment.

      •  I expect you'll probably win on that. (0+ / 0-)

The Supreme Court of California is intent on implementing gay marriage no matter what the voters say or think.

It will be interesting to see what the response is if the Calif. Supreme Court invalidates the amendment. Will the conservative side explode? Will they demand that the legislature put the amendment on the ballot according to whatever rules the court imposes?

Have you won money betting on this issue like you have on the anti-Muslim crimes you claim to have identified as hoaxes?

Your purpose so far at daily kos has been to be a troll and trouble maker.  Has anything changed?
