    what would be the point since they would have established that a bare majority is sufficent to over there analysis on EPC grounds? and thus the problem.

      Only 31% of CA's registered voters voted YES on Prop 8.  That shouldn't be enough to have a constitutional amendment pass.

        but I don't live there. My concern is how this willb e seen in other parts of the coutnry. I hope you do get it changed. When I did live there, the system was broken and I hated having to vote for initiatives.

          The progressives and socialists of the early 20th century did the best they could when they made these part of state constitutions, but they've been gutted and manipulated and some just don't adapt very well to conditions that aren't like the early 20th century.

          Direct democracy is a great thing, but we're still working to perfect it.
