Huh?  Since numbers aren't final yet, where the heck do you get the EXACT margin from?

What's a community organizer? It's sort of like a small-town mayor, except that you can actually get elected President.

    •  The article? (0+ / 0-)

It said they were 52.77 to 45.77. How is that possible? I find the math impossible to believe.

Most of the votes keep coming in from Democratic areas (i.e. CA), so when I posted this last night, that was the margin. It's been creeping up from around 6.6% for days.

For the record, I've looked for votes in all states, and there may be some missing in Republican states that I haven't captured, so it could go down, but I have not tried to find only votes in Democratic states to increase the margin.

More like: how is that impossible?  One out of every 100 elections will have a percentage that's round to two decimal places.  Might as well ask... A margin of 6.91%? How is it possible that it can be exactly .91?

And of course, this is not the final margin, anyway.  It will probably be bigger than 7.00%. ;-)
