but when you called it a "have we done the right thing" diary, i thought maybe you had misread the diary.  a lot of other people thought the diary was complaining about Obama, but the diary is not complaining about Obama.  as far as I can tell, you and the diarist and I are in agreement with this statement:

I am not unhappy, I am completely happy and so far he has not done a single thing that i did not expect.

if you took offense, there was none intended.  especially by me.  i agree with everything you said in your 10:52 post.

emotions are running high and I know some people are on a hair trigger but please do not flame me when I did not attack you or disagree with you.

Politics is like driving. To go backward, put it in R. To go forward, put it in D.
We inaugurate President Barack Obama in 55 days!

the hairtrigger crowd. If I misunderstood you I apologise. I confess I took it as a criticism when all I intended to be a feeble attempt at lightening up.

Dialogue sure is difficult when one is not face to face with a person, even then, one is frequently misunderstood, especially if one has a British sense of staire, humour and ridiculousness. Fortunately face to face one can by the expression on the face figure out whether or not one is getting through.

Maybe we'd all better re-think our definitions of 'flaming'.  I thought i was merely trying to c larify my comment and wondering if i had stepped over the line in cyberspace.

Turn down our thermostats, or shut up for a while.  Me, not you!
