    A very thoughtful poster I used this one before; at the beginning of the invasion, America had @270M people and Iraq had around 27M.  In other words, America had approximately 10 times as many people as Iraq.

    If you want to get an idea of size of the human tragedy in Iraq, take whatever casualty counts you get from Iraq and multiply them by 10.

    Then think of how we in America would react if we had killings on THAT scale here in our country.  The 100,000 figure killed in Iraq would be comparable to 1,000,000 of the American population being killed here in America.

    It really is appalling what we have wrought on that country, all in the name of oil and pride.
