    I've been following this sucker for a while--since it's just about the most interesting story that doesn't involve the Indian tragedy out there right now--and I came up with a roughly similar talking point:

    "A progressive coalition would represent a majority of ridings and a near super-majority of voters. It is what the voters chose. It is time we respected that choice."

    To be honest, this is what should have been the case from the beginning, but the Bloc has been radioactive when it comes to alliance and little-interested in it in the first place. Had Harper not put a gun to their heads, this never would have happened, and his minority of conservatives would have their majority-like voice.

    As it is, he overreached. And is now in deep trouble.
