    •  Revenge Is A Sweet Delight No Doubt (0+ / 0-)

to all us psychopaths but it has nothing directly to do with intelligence.  Before enjoying the delights of revenge, isn't it theoretically good to have reason to believe the revengee is guilty?

The question was one of intelligence gathering.

      What is permissible?

Presumably you would not gouge out eyeballs, crush testicles and other nasties.

Waterboarding does not leave the scars, if the interrogatee survives, but some folks are against medieval torture of any kind.

Any interrogation involves physical restraint, confinement, coercion of various kinds.  Some can be rather discomforting, leading even to suicide.

Gentle persuasion is not what the military knows much about - or government in general.

I was not attacking "Alexander."  He done good.  But some here patting themselves vigorously on the back and choosing up sides might want to consider a bit of introspection.

      Best,  Terry
