on drug laws. I assume this is a fight Obama won't take on.

      there's hints his attitude's improved.

His law firm donated many hours to Angel Raich's unsuccessful Supreme Court challenge to Federal jurisdiction over medical marijuana home cultivation where legal under California law.

While Holder's personal role in the case was minimal, (reviewing the work of junior attorneys at the firm,)  she reports that he was polite and encouraging.

I discussed the nomination with Senator Feingold 10 days ago, he plans to question Holder on whether he intends to deliver on Obama's campaign pledge to end Federal raids on patients.

More problematic than Holder, the laked but not yet officially anounced choice of retiring MN GOP Representative Jim Ramstad for Drug Czar (Director of Office of National Drug Control Policy.) Ramstad, besides opposing medical cannabis, sponsored legislation to prevent the DC Govt. from spending local tax monies on  needle exchange.

The War on Drugs is $40 billion a year of Government waste.

Jesus, what is with Obama and these right-wing appointments of his? Really? I'm sorry, did they freaking vote for him? No? Then maybe a couple progressive picks are in order!

Obama better govern a lot different than how he appoints, otherwise it will be a one-term presidency.
