    I mean, really...Markos is way too modest to want this type of thread. Or is he? Maybe he loves this stuff...maybe he just eats it up, and that's why he started this site in the first place. Nothing to do with politics, just fluffing his own ego!! The bastard!!

    Heh, just kidding (before markos deletes my ID). I, too, love this site, and would have gone insane many months ago were it not for this community.

      Heh, just tryin' a little humor. As I've said before in other threads, this site has been a godsend. I used to just read liberal articles on sites like Common Dreams and AlterNet. While those can be informative, after a while they can kinda drag you down. The greatest thing about this site is Kos's continual optimism and confidence, which has had a great rallying effect. Just three more days until party time!

        This site is an oasis in an arid political desert.  It's not just a source of valuable articles and information.  It's a a culture which sustains (provides) a high energy level that was missing from liberal/progressive politics for decades.

        We'll need even more of that in the years ahead.  Whether they win lose or steal the election, the right will be coming after us and Kerry with a vengence.
