will demand of anyone "hell to pay?"  These people that voted for Bush twice, that support Palin.  Screw up their satellite so they don't get TV and you will have hell to pay--that's about it.

lots of relations whose off-spring have been wasted on the plains of Iraq.  Once they are apprised of how they've been misled, there will be hell to pay.

Let's not forget that there are pictures and videos of everything that went on.

Republicans think that if one person (the photographer at Abu Ghraib) is shut down everyone else will decide not to bother documenting what's going down.  That's a mistake.  For every one individual that's restrained, there will be a dozen others who try to see what they can get away with.

The Vietnam adventure collapsed in large part because the troop effort either lapsed or was counter-productive (giving false reports of the information they gathered).  The same is probably happening now.  Just because the military isn't reporting it, there's no reason to doubt that one reason American casualties have decreased is because the patrols aren't patrolling.  Instead, they roll out and sit in some secluded spot and send in "reports" from time to time.

      •  Viet Nam "adventure" collapsed because young men (0+ / 0-)

were being drafted and everyone had an interest in this war.  That is not the case here.

Most Americans only know what is on TV and as long as the MSM edits what they see they know nothing.  Many Americans still believe Barack Obama is a Muslim.

I don't really think Americans care anymore--they are too busy worrying about their own issues such as losing their job, their car, their home, buying groceries, etc.

As someone who grew up a military brat and loves our warriors, I just don't see the concern in my neighbors at all.
