I really have no opinion as I no longer imbibe myself as to legalization. I think the laws are ridiculously harsh, but at the same time, if you run the risk of getting caught when you know it's illegal, I can't really feel sorry for you, you know?

Whether or not you like it, it's still a law. I am more concerned right now about keeping the job I have and making ends meet than I am about legalizing weed. I know I'm not alone there.

And if so, did you only ask your question, or did you rec or downgrade other questions?

has been on the fritz of late. So the answer to your questions would be no.

I understand the argument, I really do. If pot was legal, my grandfather's final months could have been a lot less painful. He had a toke now and then, when I could find a safe person to buy from. (And without my mother knowing, a reformed pothead herself.)

But I guess what I'm getting at is that there is so much more important stuff going on right now that I find it a little disheartening that pot is the number one question. Is that so bad? Not really, just disheartening.

technological malfunction, too busy, or letting it all rest in Obama's hands at this point.

It IS disheartening, you and all the other people who elected Obama into office, where are you now? Why aren't you actively discussing issues? If you, and all the other people here saying "there is so much more important stuff going on" spoke up, then I have without a doubt that marijuana wouldn't even be in the top 20.  But you didn't.

          Is the younger generation upstaging?

Excuses? So it's my fault my hard drive blew up? Come on now. You're saying I personally am to blame here, and I find that laughable.

And what's this "younger generation" stuff have to do with anything? I'm 36, not 16. Please don't lump me in with a bunch of apathetic 20-somethings, thanks.
