    But here in New Jersey, we're awash in road upon road upon road. The governor has been threatening to lease several of the major ones to raise needed money. Even in less-traveled parts of our state, it would make far more sense to plan ahead to incorporate light rail systems instead of roads. Instead, we have old rail lines being sold off to developers instead of that infrastructure being maintained, and once those long lines are broken up, good luck getting a train line through that newly-developed land.

    Here in NJ we need far more light rail and fewer roads. Other parts of the country are not the same.

    But don't forget that most men without property would rather protect the possibility of becoming rich, than face the reality of being poor. (1776)
