Brian Ross who spent a week promoting a scandalous expose of the names in the D.C. Madam's little black book?  That Brian Ross?

He may have screwed up then, I don't know enough about the incident you cite. But that doesn't make Ross wrong now, although as I say I'd be glad if he is. But incidentally, almost everyone here yesterday was prepared to metaphorically hang Blago based on Fitzgerald's allegations. Those allegations, which many people seemed to take as gospel, described the conduct of a Senate candidate number 5. If Fitz was right about everything else, he's likely right about a candidate number 5, too, and Jesse Jackson Jr is as likely a suspect as anyone else. Why doubt ABC when what they're reporting is completely plausible?

to have allegations based on actual taped conversations and testimony under oath and another thing to pin something on JJR on the basis of
Blago talking about an "emissary" from Candidate #5.  If you read the entire affidavit, it is chock full of Blago's delusions, including his belief that he could be named Secretary of Health and Human Services.

I'll just keep waiting for Fitzgerald to actually name Candidate #5 and then provide evidence that he was trying to buy the seat.
