    My town was named after an Indian who essentially settled here long enough to be recognized by the white folk, such that he eventually contributed to signing over this land to the Dutch.

    Most towns, creeks and many lakes in the region are named after Indian tribes or people.  I was in the Lenape school district when we lived in southern NJ, many years ago.

    "So, please stay where you are. Don't move and don't panic. Don't take off your shoes! Jobs is on the way."
