  •  How can you say that about a state (0+ / 0-)

    in which Democrats hold all statewide offices, both senate seats, 3/4 of the congressional districts, both houses of the state legislature in huge majorities, and over half of registered voters?

    So they didn't vote for a black guy.  It's a southern state with a negligible black population.  Not surprising.  And they're socially conservative.  Not surprising either.  We could still do better, at least on economic issues.

      Yes, on state and local level Arkansas is Democratic. Moderate Democratic, BTW. Some populism on economy, conservatism on social issues. Negligible black population?? Well, i wouldn't say so - it's slightly below 20%. So, may be you can do SLIGHTLY better on economic issues, but surely - not others. And only SLIGHTLY if at all...
