    I wouldn't call that piece-of-shit-ism, then. If they knew something was going to be done anyway, then it doesn't really matter how they vote.

      If what I think is a case, they used a meaningless vote to stick the screw into unions.

      These people said all these hateful things toward the autoworkers (if they worked for free they still couldn't turn around the misfortunes of GM), knowing perhaps in secret that the Pres will likely come around in using TARP funds to give to GM and Chrysler.

      They hedged their bets and inso doing, took a swipe at working people who only seek to keep bills paid through a terribly tough time.

      That's icky to me. Typical politics, but icky.
