The truth has been my greatest thanks.I knew Daniel Boone.

    I knew Daniel Boone.

I am very old but not quite old enough to know the original. :-)  Damn good copy though.  Young soldier about 20, like myself at the time.

Daniel Boone carried a wrinkled, weathered cut-out of a story in his pocket always.  It was a story that bothered him, bothered him a  lot.

You see it was a story about Daniel Boone saving another kid from drowning in frigid waters in Kentucky some time back.

Wouldn't anybody want to save another from drowning?  What's wrong with that?

Daniel ended up in the hospital himself.  I suppose with pneumonia.  I don't remember - if I ever even knew.

Could have cost Daniel his life.  That was a chance Daniel took willingly.

The punishment Daniel was not so happy to receive was the ridicule from classmates and friends and family.  That he didn't expect.

Gawd I wish you well, Jesselyn.

And I wish the same for all whistleblowers.

All I have seen any receive though is punishment.

Hope you can live on love.

There is not much else that any here likely can offer.

    Best,  Terry
