  •  Thank you (4.00)
all for your very kind words. I really appreciate it and this is my first diary to make the recommended list. I'm going to bed. I can't type anymore. (thank the Lord and the software writer for preview). .
    •  What can we do? (none)
I'm in DC, I have a canvassing gig tomorrow, but Election Day is open. Is there a MARC accessible destination in West Virginia in need of volunteers?
      •  How you can help (none)
Project NEXT is still working through election day at the Berkeley County Democratic Headquarters in Martinsburg. AMTRAK runs daily commuter trains to Martinsburg from Union Station.
Thanks for your interest in helping.
        Ms. Carnacki.

don't run from DC to WVa in the morning - only to DC. The earlist train to WVa leaves Union Station at 4:55 pm (I think, it's been a while) but MARC trains also have a tendency to break down on election day. Amtrak does run a daily to Chicago that stops in Harpers Ferry and Martinsburg, but you'd probably have to spend the night in WVa to get back. We could always use some help in Bolivar.
