a joke, since Marion Berry is a US Representative from Arkansas.

Are those berries sort of sticky?  I am not joking now, just trying to identify them.  Any Rubus species berry is good, although technically they are not a berry but rather a drupe, but that it botanical talk.

    Warmest regards,

Depending on how you count, they're either a blackberry variety or a cross with something closely related (blackberry-huckleberry?).  They're yummy!

(a Rubus) would cross with a blueberry or a huckleberry (a Vaccinium or a Gay-Lussacium, repectively, and yes, the same Gay-Lussac that gave us some of the gas laws as discussed in some earlier Pique the Geek posts).  It is more likely that they are hybrids with raspberries or wineberries (perhaps it is a wineberry), both of which are Rubus species.

not like blue berries or huckleberries. Those two seem similar. Marion berries are most like blackberries in size and shape. They are bigger than red raspberries. In my post above, the blue berry comment was separate. I just really like all sorts of berries.
