  •  Again, no pitchforks or torches... (6+ / 0-)

I do not know what it takes to get outrage to actionable at this point.

Halliburton and Blackwater stole the money in Iraq.

The housing bubble took the equity from our homes and 'redistributed it'.

The retirement accounts got 'lost' in the money shuffle on Wall Street.

And now the 'bailout' money is being sent to specific insiders.

And the most hysterical thing is that they think that American taxpayers should pay it all off in the future, near and far.

    I'm a little hysterical myself.

I just returned from a military mobilization from Iraq 5 days ago.  I cannot tell you how many times since I have been back that different people have wondered allowed to me why the rioting hasn't started.  I felt safer over there than in my own city!

when I returned from Vietnam in 69 and there was so much going on in the streets of America.  It's like the devil you have learned to know in a war zone is a little better than the devil you encounter when you get home.

It seems like things are simmering here...and not yet at full boil.

        Welcome back, btw.

        want us'...don't 'they'.....

The rioting will happen, and the revolution will be televised.  It is simply a matter of time. When people can no longer feed or shelter their children, because the most basic 'safety nets' are no long available in our society, (because Bush has literally Enroned the entire world), then people will go to the streets and it will get very ugly.  Of course Bush has timed all of this so that it fall in Obama's lap.  The 'extremist' religious right fake Christians are waiting in the wings like 'ravenous wolves' to point the fingers at Obama and that, my friend is how Hitler's are born. As I read once (by an anon. greek philosopher:

"A civilized society that no longer takes care of it's children, it's elderly, poor and indigent, no longer has the right to call itself a civilized society."

Thank you for your service to our country. Welcome home, and Holiday blessings to you and your family.
