      ... and Hamilton also served on the Iraq Study Group. I just saw him quoted on MSNBC's First Read saying that Panetta is a good consensus builder who could handle the CIA well, if he has good support staff and career intelligence people around him. But then I imagine you could say that about any Director.

      As for Feinstein's opposition to Panetta, that almost strikes me as a reason to like him more. Her judgment doesn't seem all that hot to me, but then maybe I'm just biased because she's also on the appropriations committee that helps set my agency's budget, and it's like pulling rivets with your teeth to get any funds out of there.
