    kept Feinstein and Rockefeller in the loop.  Letting key committee members learn about it from the news outlets is poor form.  One does not need to respect DiFi to recognize the value of keeping key committee members informed of big decisions.

    And while I support Obama's decision, it would be foolish to ignore the disadvantages that are mixed with the advantages.  Federal agencies are more resistant to change if that change is being lead by an outsider, and this is especially true for agencies that have strong cultures, like the CIA.  Panetta is very likeable, so he might be able to win over the loyalty of his subordinates, but it won't be quick or easy.

    Obama does a good job of listening to the views of those who disagree with him.  I'm glad that he isn't as dismissive of his opponents as some of us are.

    Impeachment is a duty, not an option that can be taken off the table.
