    Honestly, I'm okay with some business rebates if it gets us over the 60-vote hump.  In the end, they're not sufficiently stupid to warrant railroading the package.  But I really couldn't care less about getting broad bipartisan support.  And, really, I think we could just as easily drop the cuts and say, "Hey, Senator X, if you vote with us, we'll give you that project you want."

    The earmarks-bashing by Obama is really dumb.  Earmarks are nothing in the great scheme of things, and they could be used as a good political tool that'd do little damage.

      I do not really care how it passes.  I just want it to be large enough.  If it takes throwing money at some stupid republican senators pet project, or some tax cut that effects 10 people, so be it.

      I just want 1.2T of real stimulus to be passed, and don't care how..

      I am repeating myself, and thats ok.
