    his lack of charisma.

Every Senator sees him/herself as a superstar.  The las thing they want is a leader who is a "leader."

This would diminish them in their minds.  So they would rather have an innocuous Majority Leader who they don't have to feel less in comparison to.

It's sad but the need to raise large amounts of campaign funds have made them all into.....whores.  I usually find a more innocuous way of expressing myself, but no other word comes to mind.

Especially when I look at the IWR, the Bankrupcy bill, ignoring the impending economic disaster......I don't see anything but "politicians" a decent word that most of them, our guys included, has been turned into an epithet.

have egos as big as my, ummmmm, fence line.

But that needs to go.  I would much rather have a good Majority Leader who knows how to get things done than a Cowardly Lion who roars loudly and then begs for mercy.

      Warmest regards,

I could use income in exchange for value. I need work badly.

the other Senators are content to see their campaign promises trashed unnecessarily rather than have an effective leader.

I contributed an awful lot of money to elect Ds, it's kind of disappointing to hear they are all worthless hacks.

      Are you sure?
