    And the editorial today in our local right-wing newspaper cries all about deficit spending.

    The same people that endorsed Cheney ('Deficits don't matter'), praise Reagan as God ('Deficits don't matter') and completely ignored people like us that said sure they do, especially if not used for a long-term purpose. It played a role in 2004. The Democrats thought it did, the Republicans didn't.

    What does this mean for you and me? If the dollar goes into free fall, banks could close, businesses go bankrupt, real estate values crumble, and middle-class families could lose everything they own.
