    That is crazy.  So, he can't have dinner with who he wants?  Scary.  I can't be against torture more.  So, I guess I've really screwed up.  I have dinner with whoever I damn well please.  I couldn't imagine being so pure as to not associate with certain people.

    I wouldn't have any opportunity to educate people if that were the case.  A few of my friends happen to be reformed Republicans.  If I didn't have dinner with them they wouldn't have voted Obama and helped swing Colorado.  

    You want to reevaluate what you just typed?  Stuff like that makes us look...extreme.

      Like I suggested Obama should never have dinner with Republicans.

      What I actually suggested is that Obama should have some scruples about SOCIALIZING - that is, VOLUNTARILY associating with- people who not only think torture is OK, but actively supported it and those who did it.

      Fine point, I guess.  I just have qualms about my new PE getting too palsy with criminals and the people in the media who protect them. I plead guilty to being fussy about stuff like that.
