  •  Doug Racine has a very good shot (5+ / 0-)

at defeating Douglas, as long as Pollina doesn't siphon 15% of the vote.

And, at this point, with respect to the 2010 contest and some of the shit Doesless is doing, he's oppoing himself.
Oppo pukes might focus on Pollina and start talking shit NOW. NOW. Not in six months or so, but NOW.
      I'll help.

"Bush legacy", my ass. Criminals don't have "legacies". Criminals have RECORDS.

He does have a shot at it, but Douglas already beat him once. Unfortunately, campaigns are tricky here. If you try to just stay positive, as a challenger you can't usually gain a lot of traction. If you go too negative, Vermonters get turned off. Douglas is good at being Mr. Smooth Nice Guy. I like Racine, but I am not sure he has the "star power" needed to unseat an incumbent. I hope that the Dems and Progressives can unite behind one candidate, like they did when Bernie ran against Tarrant.

      Oversteamed cauliflower.

Another weak candidate who lost against Douglas once...this is who we want to send up against him again? Seriously, the Dems and Progs exasperate me beyond words. Get in a f***ing smoke-filled back room, pick one STELLAR, exciting, NEW candidate to run again Gov Cheney-lite, and kick his sorry ass out of Montpelier for good!
