    i made a comment and it disappeared!

    This happens frequently on dKos if you comment on an international politics diary without explicitly pointing out that the government of Israel is responsible for all civilian deaths and tragedies. Just include a disclaimer to that effect at the end, and everything will be fine.

      This statement is neither insightful or productive. As a matter of fact, it's an obvious falsehood.

      Such a statement naturally requires a very high standard of proof. If it is humor, it comes across as an attempt inflame and demonize, which also serves no useful purpose.

      Until you can provide proof that your quip isn't baseless, inflammatory, slanderous bashing, it deserves to be hidden.

      hide the comment but it sure as hell pissed me off.  if it is humor it is at best in poor taste.  

      if it's satire, it's extremely poor satire and not funny and, as mr. kresnik points out:

      if you are trying to be funny don't quit your day job.

      some of us here are interested in what is going on in the world at large and this is a good and important diary.
