  •  The Carter Center should coordinate (4.00)
an inquiry into the election along with OECD observers.  There is no question that something really bad happened in America yesterday, and the world as a whole has a stake in making sure that it is put right.  It is too important to be left to just the Democrats or just Americans.  The world needs to have confidence in the outcome of this election.

    •  Carter won't touch this election (4.00)
I read something about this a few weeks ago. Forgive me for not remembering the source, and therefore not being able to do more than paraphrase. But the basic gist of the article was that the situation (they were talking specifically about Florida) was so bad that it did not meet the minimum criteria for the Carter Center to get involved.

That's right. Florida is worse than a third-world country and so hopeless that the Carter Center wouldn't touch it.

      •  Yep Carter said Florida (none)
according to BBC: "Voting arrangements in Florida do not meet "basic international requirements" and could undermine the US election, former US President Jimmy Carter says."
        •  International Observers... (4.00)
said yesterday that in the US election, electronic voting was not verifiable as in Venzuela, did not grant the access they recently had in Afghanistan and was more complicated than the botched elections they had in Bosnia.
