This Is A Call For Volunteers

I realize we are all wiped.  But the probability is high our election was stolen from us.  Can we ever again be a free people if we allow this to stand?

Only one county in Ohio used Diebold - Lucas county.  But when you look at Florida, a full 27 of 67 counties used Diebold.  ALL of Florida used electronic voting - two other companies supplied machines:  Election Systems & Software, Inc. -  and Sequoia Systems, Inc.  Can we get some volunteers to check out these companies and their affiliations - whether or not political donations were made etc.?  I believe they are privately owned so it might take some digging.

Clearly, if the vote was stolen, it was done so electronically.  Let's roll up our sleeves.

It is irrelevant whether this data gathering will be effective for contesting this election - but it is abundantly clear that by 2006 we absolutely must eliminate unauditable voting mechanisms in America.

Time to test reality against the electronic results.  Starting with the Florida counties under Diebold, (listed below - please post which you are investigating), find out the demographics -

    Population

    Racial makeup

Voter registration makeup by totals, party, unaffiliated, new etc.

    Age demographics

Party affiliation of election officials and structure of election organization

Any and all exit poll data available

Trending of votes counts (i.e. were there sudden surges for Bush, what time, etc.)

Total vote count and breakups, preferable with timeline.

Is blackboxvoting.org covering any precincts within county with their request for data/audit logs etc.?

Anything else you can think of?  Personal observations would be nice.

    Here are the Diebold counties:

    MONROE

    GLADES

    ST. LUCIE

    DE SOTO

    MANATEE

    POLK

    OSCEOLA

    BREVARD

    HERNANDO

    CITRUS

    LUCY

    SEMINOLE

    VOLUSIA

    FLAGLER

    PUTNAM

    DUVAL

    ALACHURA

    COLUMBIA

    GILCHRIST

    TAYLOR

    MADISON

    JEFFERSON

    WAKALLA

    CALHOUN

    WALTON

    OKALOOSA

    LEVY

Please grab a county or a company and get to work.  Post what you are working on so we don't spin our wheels.  If anyone actually lives in any of these counties, that would be preferred.  If we smell something, we may need to follow up with some groundwork.

I'm really hoping to get a response here.  I'm off to ferret more Diebold locations of interest so I can post more work for us to do...

Yes its mine - but unless I read the source wrong, most counties in Florida are using a paper ballots at the precincts and then using Diebold (or ESS or Sequioa) machines for tabulation.  And I am not sure if the touchscreens in the counties shown were paperless (though I don't doubt it.)  Where there are paper ballots, there is an audit trail and an audit ought to be done (except the Republicans control the State, so someone will have to sue.)

What I would be curious to see is how those counties returns compared to registered voters.
