    peddling a product that you cannot buy as you would buy from a menu at McDonald's. Only a doctor can determine your illness and the necessary treatment for it.  
    So, in effect, they are pushing drugs on the doctor as well as the public.

      I know what you're saying, but the commercials could just as easily say "talk to a doctor". They don't - they intentionally say "your". The uninsured don't have a personal doctor. No health insurance means what? Medicare, at best, or no doctor appointment available to you at all.

      Pharmaceutical companies don't want no stinking medicare payments!

      They're implicitly excluding you if you're uninsured - you don't count as a person who needs/wants good health unless you have insurance. You're a cast out, irrelevant. No soup for you!
