    thanks to George Bush. Maybe 100's of millions. If we admit that Gitmo was a mistake along with other violations of international treaties concerning the treatment of prisoners, we may just win some of those folks back. Putting a handful of those that we abused the worst, back into their society is a drop in the bucket. One lesson that we have to learn as a society is that we can't control every risk, and that we have to weigh the consequences of our actions against the actual reduction of risk. We have no right to incarcerate people who might do something illegal in the future, or people who we think might have done something illegal in the the past, but we can't prove it. When did we get into the thinking that we have to do something because it is in our best interest, rather than basing our actions on law?
