Thank you for standing on the side of justice.  You have by these simple, but brave acts, helped restore honor to the many men and women who have given their lives protecting us, by standing up for, and defending, the very values they fought and died for.

In your justifications for why torture is wrong, perhaps you could include that if we torture our enemies, what voice do we have left to object when they begin to torture our men and women, held in similar circumstance?  Justice without balance and parity, is not justice.

This return to moral standing once again gives power to our voices, and all the moral authority needed, to address the wrongs we see around the world.  Of course it will never rid the world of evil men, but it contributes greatly to the strength and standing needed to deal with them in the most judicious fashion possible.

By succumbing to the the tactics of lesser men, the sacrifice of our standing is much too great to justify whatever bits of tactical information we could possibly gleen in exchange.

We are proud of you Sir.
