    Tax base does not support it.  This was why Howard Jarvis got Prop 13 through in California in 1978.

      CA schools have gone from some of the best in the country to some of the worst.  Its sad to see.

        who lives in Ca., who often alludes to feeling crushed by taxes, despite being very successful.  If the property taxes did not get frozen, would it be different?  

        I am asking, I am not trying to make a point.

          there would definitely be a lot more money for education which would have to be a good thing.  There are still other one-size-fits-all issues that have nothing to do with money.
