    Not unless they are willing to shut down the government again.  The stimulus is all about approprations and there are 13 budget bills that MUST pass, if the government isn't going to shut down.
    They tried that in 1995 and I think THEY remain a LOT more afraid of that THAN WE are.

      You're actually thinking of the regular appropriations process. That's something very different. Defeating this bill does not result in a government shut down. Government operations are currently funded under a continuing resolution passed last year, with another one coming down the pike shortly.

      But that's a different bill, not this one.
