    a non-gender specific pronoun to use instead of they.  we have the internets now.  if we think of a good one, the word will spread far and wide, and we will own the english-speaking world!  ;-)

      I feel that if one does not accept the traditional English forms of neuter pronouns, they should consider using a language such as Farsi, Finnish, Estonian, Hungarian, Nahuatl, Indonesian, Bengali, or the Turkic languages. If that is not acceptable, consider using the Middle English 'a' and 'ou', which will let you communicate with any survivors of the Black Death you happen to encounter.
