    That goes for all the related species, from pipefish to trumpetfish to the leafy sea dragons.  Someday I'd enjoy the opportunity to see those sea dragons off of Adelaide.  One may dream.

      I always catch my breath when I see one.

      Which reminds me, it has been way too long since I was at an aquarium.

        But then, they and related families seem to exhibit physical or behavioral stealth.  Observing them, even seeing something as common as a trumpetfish swimming above a larger fish, trying to make itself look like a dorsal fin, is engaging.

        Now, if we can only protect our oceans, fisheries, and reefs to maintain good habitat for these amazing fish.
