national security and military issues is appalling. I hope that the somebody, hey maybe even Feinstein, should pass legislation barring this type of personnel action.

Hmmm...must call Feinstein's office and Monday and I'll even be nice this time. ;^D

employees is still 3 to 6 months to make it happen. THEN if they are union as well it complicates the matter. Insubordination in government jobs requires lots of paperwork to prove it to HR. Took me and a manager 6 months when I briefly worked in a government position. Then a manager higher up than both of us made a side deal with the union. The employee was ultimately fired for cause and criminal actions.

Better to be patient and push, and document, against passive aggressive personalities. They ultimately quit.

There are some government agencies that represent some managers. I know a number in CA government.

Being GOP, they'd join the union if it got them more stuff! For them it's all me, me, me!

It depends on the employee's status. Still as civil service it's several months worth of paperwork.

FDIC, with a lot of ex-military folk.  They were well aware of these methods to get rid of people they did not like.

Seems like criminal actions would be a bit easier.
