  •  That's unfair to Emily's List. (none)
You make it sound as if they endorsed the more homophobic candidate in Tenenbaum.  They clearly did not; Tenenbaum may have supported the FMA, but she attacked DeMint, her opponent, for suggesting that gays not be allowed to teach.

They didn't go against gays, and I very much doubt that anyone who supported abortion rights would oppose gay rights.

However, the reverse is obviously not true.

    •  Well gee... (none)
that was mighty white of her.

      •  Whatever. (none)
She's not the homophobe James made her out to be, nor is Emily's List in the habit of endorsing the more homophobic candidate.  Really, is there any instance where the pro-choice Democrat candidate is less pro-equality than the Republican opponent?

If so, then I suppose an attack on pro-choice Democrats for being insufficiently pro-equality is warranted.  Otherwise, it's not.

        •  You miss the point (none)
Saying that she is not so bad because while she doesn't support Jim Crow... but does support banning inter-racial marriage, she isn't a racist.

          cheers,

          Mitch Gore
