    The confidence in government demands an undisputed election. Will the justice department:

    (a) Demand an immediate and full investigation of the technology and human factors in novel voting and tabulating methods, or

    (b) Outlaw discussion of the obvious flaws of such systems?

    With the prematurely-deployed missile defense system, the choice was obvious: classify the tests.

      A lawsuit filed in California regarding the backup electronic data files, the logs and the extraneous files was denied access to this information as "proprietary" information owned by the voting machine company.

      Access to the data itself was denied.
