        Lots of things are all added together...

        People were scared out of their wits, the media was complicit in the crime as well.  In fact, I place much blame on the media, because they didn't take seriously the voices of dissent that could have stopped this tragedy.

            Cheney and Rumsfeld learned all the wrong lessons from Vietnam.

            What scares me is that people here seem to think the war is over.

            Shit, there is a "I'm an Iraq soldier" diary on the rec list and people are just congratulating the guy.

            I ask why we still have soldiers there and hardly get a rec.
