    I was in Orlando the day it soared into the cosmos. I managed to get outside and watch it if climb. It was awe inspiring and more than a little bit humbling. It is the only launch I've ever seen, and even though I was far from the cape, it was a great view. It really makes you stop and think about time & space relative to our own individual very short times that we're here.

    Thank you to the entire team that made this possible. It is a testament to humankind's thirst for knowledge and our optimism for the future.

      if I'm remembering correctly, as in quickest accelleration of a rocket carrying a satellite-like payload.

        at least in atmosphere you need to keep the speed down a bit
        until you roll through the worst of the atmosphere.

        If the Q is too high it will crush the pairing and it's too much drag
