    that religion is the basis for this, we will repeat the same thing over and over.

    As soon as we let religion in the tent of government, as soon as we indulge because we fear to offend, as soon as we convince ourselves it's just a matter of mixing in the "right kind" of religion, we repeat the same old history.

    Religion has no place in the law, period. Religion has no place in government, period.

    Not "right-wing religion" or "fundie religion" or "not my kind of religion" or "their religion", but ALL religion.

    Free exercise of religion comes at a cost, and that cost is keeping it eternally separated and apart from the rule of law.
