  •  The difference is we're after DINOs (5+ / 0-)

who vote contrary to their constiuents positions. If a rep is in a very liberal district but votes with the blue dogs he better watch out. Were after the Lieberman types. Most are throw backs to the Clinton Democrat Centerist era.

    •  By that standard (0+ / 0-)

someone like Heath Shuler gets to avoid being primaried. Which is interesting because plenty of people have called for his head on this site.

And how long do you think the "DINO" standard will hold before it is watered down to include plenty of non-conforming Democrats?

Progressive like Jane and Glen as well as the SEIU are not out to RULE THE WORLD. It's simple we have been hobbled by DINOs. Do you think Lieberman is the kind of Democrat who actually represents the views of Conn voters. During the Clinton era these guys flourished but to day they no longer reflect the changing attitudes of Democrats. But the system protects them and Lie-berman is the epitome of this Senate protection racket. It's time for them to change or leave.

        •  By all means (0+ / 0-)

Take out Lieberman. I don't like him and CT is a lean-Democratic state. But how many Democratic Congressmen and Senators that are "insufficiently Democratic" do you think represent those kinds of areas?

Most, if not all, of your "DINOs" represent republican-leaning areas. By the definition at the top, this PAC will not go after these people. Which again raises the question, "Who will this PAC primary?"

doesn't represent a "Republican leaning district."

Nonetheless, he is managing to undermine virtually every progressive Democratic Party proposal.

You really don't know what you're talking about, do you?

Are you just  paid shill for the Dem establishment, or are you really that ignorant?
