  •  Except that (7+ / 0-)

50 years ago, she'd just be making coffee.

She wants to have the advantages of being a woman in today's society, with the rules and morals of 50 years ago.

    Way screwed up.

that she wants to work so that she can return to that world. Or something like that. She's a younger Phyllis Schaffly. Phyllis authored "The Total Woman" which shocked everyone at the time by advising women to greet their man at the door wearing only saran wrap. She fought hard against the feminism of the 70's and yet she was the professional business woman while her husband was a stay at home dad. Very strange.

There is a great deal of pain in life and perhaps the only pain that can be avoided is the pain that comes from trying to avoid pain. - R.D. Laing

      •  She gives mouth service (6+ / 0-)

to that kind of BS, but she doesn't live it.

She a single, middle-aged woman who has never married.

She preaches a return to the Ozzie and Harriet lifestyle of the 1950s.  She preaches abstinence.  She preaches all sorts of BS that has absolutely no place whatsoever in her life.

She's a complete hypocrit and the right never calls her on it because the liberal media never calls her on it.  She's an attack dog and she's attractive and, for some unknown reason she gets away with it.

    •  Much like Phyllis Schlafly. (7+ / 0-)

She left her family to travel around and do speaking engagements to tell women they shouldn't work and needed to stay at home with their families.
