    but mostly dry statistical studies and memoirs of the time. Especially the 30s. Stuff you'd find in the library (at least in NYC) before you found it in a chain bookstore. But some even there.

    The extensive quotes are in passing, used as illustrative data in questions like "how did people feel about x topic?"

    Should be able to just browse the library and stores, look for copyrights after 1996. Lot of stuff out in the last 4-5 years on the conduct of WWII, and enforced double-life society as well.

    Until we break the corporate virtual monopoly on what we hear and see, we keep losing, don't matter what we do.
